REI has extensive experience installing directional boreholes in bedded deposits such as salt, coal, and trona, and we draw on this experience to install solution mining systems.  Applications range from something as simple as a single borehole in the bedded deposit that circulates water, to a full array of lateral branches intercepting an abandoned mine or production well.  We can develop boreholes from underground or shallow surface locations, and we’ll use our experience with drilling in bedded evaporite deposits to develop a solution mining project for your mine.
