REI provides advisory and consulting efforts as a means to develop strategic and larger scale working relationships. For example, we have worked closely with various US and international groups and organizations and international underground coal operators to conceive and implement innovative applications of directional drilling for methane drainage, exploration of old workings, geologic exploration, and various applications of water drainage from surrounding workings or strata. REI has designed and recommended appropriate down hole tools and directional drilling equipment, coordinated procurement, and provided training and understanding of the science of horizontal in-mine directional drilling. Through this work, REI has developed working relationships with numerous foreign coal operators.
