About REI Drilling

REI regularly drills for the following applications:

75.388 Abandoned Mine Verification Boreholes

Methane Drainage Boreholes

Coal Seam, Fault, and Geologic Exploration Boreholes

Water Transfer / Dewatering Boreholes

REI was established in 1981 to provide commercial CMM drainage drilling, collection, and recovery services to the Soldier Canyon Mine near Price, Utah. This project was the first of its kind in the US and provided comprehensive, hands on experience as a CMM developer from drill bit to gas delivery. The project served as the stepping stone for all other REI activities.

Today, commercialization of CMM resources should be considered by coal mine operators from a financial and environmental perspective. It makes sense to stay ahead of cap and trade regulations and potential use of carbon/greenhouse gas emission credits that may be lurking in the background. REI can assist coal operators from formulation of strategy to active participation in the project.
